Donald Trump is leading the pack of Republican presidential candidates, according to a new poll from Public Policy Polling. Trump is ahead of second-place Mike Huckabee by nine points.

...

PPP's Tom Jensen writes that just 38 percent of Republican primary voters say they'd vote for someone who rejects birtherism--and most of those people are supporters of Mitt Romney. And 23 percent of Republican voters say they won't vote for anyone who's not a birther. Slate's Dave Weigel says this result "makes it harder and harder to pretend [Trump's] a non-factor in 2012."

...

The poll finds support breaks down among the candidates like this:

Trump: 26 percent

Huckabee: 17 percent

Romney: 15 percent

Newt Gingrich: 11 percent

Sarah Palin: 8 percent

Ron Paul: 5 percent

Michele Bachmann: 4 percent

Tim Pawlenty: 4 percent

Speaking of polls, I was listening to NPR today (yes, that bastion of communist propaganda) and wouldn't you know it, they reported on a study that was done on American's perception of wealth distribution. The findings are quite surprising - something like 94% of Americans favor an more even distribution of wealth than what exists in Sweden, and there's only a couple of percentage points difference between Democrats and Republicans. Juxtapose that to our current income disparity in this country and something is askew, but don't ask the angry-as-hell crowd. They don't see any connection between our current economic woes and the ever growing income gap.

It's only a shocker if you're a Democrat (or one of the 8% that support her). I'm sure they'd love to see her up at the front of the pack, but it just isn't going to happen, no matter how much the mainstream media try and make it happen.

THis shows us 2 things,

-Media coverage is everything... and Trump knows how to "trump it up".

-with Palin so low in the polls it's no wonder you ceased with the "once a day" Palin-Post.

So income disaparity should actually be what people want based on a poll and not what results from the application of effort, work, investment and risk taking? Seriously?

Dammit. Eh? Your dreams of her actually being the candidate for the Republicans are dashed. :crying:

Prediciton...NONE of the people on that list will be the actual candidate for the Republicans.

Thread title should read: Another Poll Confirms Trump as Republican Frontrunner Republicans are batshit insane.

Or it might read.... "Nearly anything looks better than Obama".
