Hello everyone. I have been reading a lot of posts here in VJ and it helped me alot. Our petition is still on process, we just filed December 8 last year.

I want to know if is it really true that St. Lukes is really strict, meticulous in reading chest X-ray that almost 50% of applicants have to do sputum test/cultured test that will take 2 more months of waiting. I am a very worried about this because my fiance and I do not want to wait 2 more months for us to be together. I am pretty sure I am healthy and no scar or spot in my lungs because I just had my chest x-ray last week and it says both lungs are cleared/Negative chest though I know that they will only rely on what they read on the x-ray result done in their clinic and will not honor other clinic's reading or impression. Hope to hear advices from you guys

Thanks,

JB

If you're confident that you don't have any communicable disease nor has history of PTB, you'll be fine. I guess they require the sputum exam for those whom they found to have spot on their chest X-ray. Me and 4 k1 applicants who I met during the medical were no longer required to take that test.

Thank you Pixzy. I am confident that I have no PTB nor history of it though. It is just that I have read some post here that is/was saying the same. They did not have PTB but still they have undergone sputum test/cultured. I really hope I wont one of those applicants who needs to do it (sputum test).

Please pray for me guys.

Thanks

JB
