Yay Wednesday! :D

Another day at work for me. I'll be in meetings and then studying all day, so no "real" work! ;)

It's been so nice going home to our new apartment - we finally have some room to breathe and we're not falling all over each other. It's been very enjoyable.

Wadi has been talking nonstop about his fishing trip with my Dad this weekend. They're going tuna and cod fishing off of Cape Cod, and he is just beside himself. I'll have some time off from watching 2M!

Good morning gals! Headed off to work today, then today and tomorrow it's morning wedding planning. The big day is Friday. I've given up ALL the decorating to my friends. I have no idea what they have planned, but they assure me it will be very romantic. Can't wait to see! :star:

Well, another day and I still don't want to be here at work. It was nice to go home early yesterday. My husband was there taking his afternoon nap and I got to nap with him for an hour before he had to go back to work. I wish I could go home everyday for a nap. Anyway, there's only two more days left in the work week. This Sunday Adil and I are going to a wedding for our friends. It should be nice. Hopefully the week will go fast!

I am ready for the weekend again! Yesterday at work was brutal. I hope today is better. I won tickets from a radio station to go see that dance movie "Step Up," so we may go do that tonight and have a little date night. I always go see the action movies with Amed, so it's his turn for a chick flick! I think he'll like it though, even t hough he won't admit it if he does.

Hey everybody. We have a marriage license. We applied last week and got the blood test and the health dept lab lost our results. They finally found the results and called us yesterday so we went by and got them and went to pick up the license. Hachemi was so proud of them. We stopped by the grocery store and and he brought the license in the store with him. He said he did not want to take any risk that someone would steal the tahoe and our marriage license. We are getting married on Sept 12 at our court house, inshaallah. The courthouse sits on the banks of a beautiful lake and there is a deck out over the water that they use to marry the couples. The only problem is, my daughter is ready to have her baby. Its the only think that will cause a delay. They said at the court house, no problem just call to reschedule.

Hi guys!

Noura I'm sorry you're having a sad day I hope it gets a little better.I would be crying too, big time. Meriem congrats! That sounds like Hicham he always asks if we should remove everything from the car and take it inside I'm like no it's ok I'll lock it haha.

Today is Hicham's 21st birthday! Yay! We're gonna go out to lunch and spend some time together then he has to work then he has a surprise after work from me which I can't talk about right now because he is sitting here staring at what I am writing, even though he might not understand everything.

Have a good day everyone!

Doreen I hope your vacation was great where did you go?

Jenn I bet it's so nice to be in your new appartment and to have things moved in. Have a nice weekend watching 2M haha.

well i'm finally in my new apartment and got internet hooked up!!! i also started my last semester of college last thurday (scary) so that's been keeping me busy.

the american embassy in Algiers had told us ten days until my husband would have his visa, but they had a problem with the computers so it was taking a bit longer. he called today and they said he could pick up his visa on saturday!!!! so saturday he'll get in his car and make the four or five hour drive to Algiers from Oran. i wish he was coming to Boston NOW instead of AFTER ramadan, but it will still be a hugeeeeee sigh of relief to finally have that visa in hand.....

hope everyone has a good hump day!!!!!!!!

If you have a marriage license already do you have to have the courthouse wedding before you can file the AOS?

The marriage license is not finished unless they actually get married so I'm thinking that they couldn't file AOS until they're married. It (marriage license) has to get signed and all that good stuff first.

Ahhhh I see.... actually I don't LOL that's not how they do it in SC so when I was reading it I was like  ???:blush:
