cookieandcream,

I have the Id Card of all of them too but they are in a different language and if I submit them they have to be translated into English...so I decided not to add them. BUT I do have photos of each of them from the wedding I could staple to each letter.

I had 2 sworn affidavits from my parents in the US, notarized in the US in their presence. My parents are also in the wedding photos. Since you are in the US with the letters and your family and friends in Pakistan, thus you cant them notarized (party has to be present to sign), a copy of ID and a photo wouldnt hurt. I woudl submit other evidence as well. Good luck!

Hi A & A, thank you for your acceptance... I was just reading over your mails... I have sent a lot of RFE's... clumsiness on my part... so I can tell you about it. When I sent mine and my husbands marriage license and then his birth certificate... I had them all translated and sent... they said they wanted the arabic ones.... when I got the arabic ones sent... they said that the english ones were acceptable!!! So I would send both of everything you can have translated... there area a lot of people who will look at your case... they have people who read all languages... so don't hesitate on that... the letter and pictures and marriage license will be enough. We only had a record of living together the 2 weeks after we were married and then I left to come home... I haven't seen him since...just tell them in your culture you don't live with your partner till married... they don't discriminated against that... if I can help you with anything... please let me know!! Take care. Di

PS- Send ONLY what they ask for... I was sending all kinds of extra stuff and it really delayed and confused my case...... keep it simple and to their point... you don't need to do anymore than that. :star:
