I will be sending my affidavit packet along with all the other info from the USA to my fiance in the Philippines. I hope to send it next week. Which of the international shippers offers the best prices/service ? I was looking at UPS and if I want to expedite the shipping it`s going to be around $120 I thought that was high but I`m also thinking all the others will be around the same price. Any advice you can pass along would be appreciated.

Over-estimating weight as I don't have a scale here at home. Perhaps you could tell me how much a sheet of paper weighs, and I could multiply by number of sheets and get a more accurate weight.

Yes, expect to pay $100-120, especially now with higher oil prices. Just FedEx it, and be assured your precious packet will reach your girl. Hey, ya don't have to do this very often, but when you do, the peace of mind knowing packet will get there on time is priceless.

Over-estimating weight as I don't have a scale here at home. Perhaps you could tell me how much a sheet of paper weighs, and I could multiply by number of sheets and get a more accurate weight.

Paper thickness, or caliper, is a common measurement specified and required for certain printing applications. Since a paper's density is typically not directly known or specified, the thickness of any sheet of paper cannot be calculated by any method. Instead, it is measured and specified separately as its caliper. However, paper thickness for most typical business papers might be similar across comparable brands. If thickness is not specified for a paper in question, it must be either measured or guessed based on a comparable paper's specification.

Caliper is usually measured in micrometres, in the United States also in mils. (1 mil = 0.001 inch = 25.4 µm)
