Hi everyone .... I just tried calling customer service at USCIS for the first time .... when prompted I put in my "Receipt Number" which I understood to be my case status number from my NOA1 form (begins "WAC ...."). I didn't input the WAC, but just the following 10 numbers, and the message I kept getting was there weren't enough numbers. Has anyone had this issue as well? (I was calling 1-800-375-5283)

you have to put in the whole thing.if it starts with wac then u put 922-then the rest of the numbers...

It is my understanding K-1 won't be in the automated system, you must speak to a live person.

This is correct when calling the NVC. Not USCIS.

Ok - I'll try the 922. Thanks! I just thought that they'd TELL us to do that, explaining the letters need to be converted to numbers. I will try again next week. Thanks for your input and replies, everyone, very much! p.s. and I wish us all the best of success in this process!
