I have heard of SO MANY cases being sent back to USCIS lately with no explanation as to why!! :wow:

The CO just hands the beneficiary their passport and says they cannot issue a visa at this time, and that they will contact the petitioner on what to do next

I wonder what is causing what seems to me, to be an increase of cases being sent back to USCIS...?

Any thoughts??

Anyone have this happen and was given any solid info as to why??? :help:

Thanks pushbrk,

I did see your thread on the increased RFE's and RFEIE's but did not want to go off topic with the specific question on petitions being returned USCIS. I guess it all ties in together... maybe is is a mandate from higher up...? Maybe the Government is requesting every branch take a closer look at these petitions in order to weed out the fraud.

I remember a time when the advice on VJ was to not overwhelm USCIS with proof of relationship, and to save most of it for the actual interview.. But with the amount of cases being returned I am certainly going to be "front-loading" my I-130 next week!!

I hope that some people who have had their petition returned recently will come and give some insight as to the consular's reasons for doing so.

You can front-load a petition without overwhelming anybody. Overwhelm them, and you can expect no control over what they read or IF they read any of your front-load.
