Checklist for AOS

Hello and Good day to everyone!

I am new here, and here is my situation:

My USC husband, filed a petition for my son (stepfather-stepchild relationship). We sent the form I-864EZ on March 1, 2011 to the NVC. On March 17, 2011 we received a checklist letter via e-mail stating that the benefeciary needs to complete and submit a new form which is the form I864W. My husband called the NVC telephone number and spoke to the operator, and explained that the benefeciary is a "step son", and therefore he filed the I864EZ form. The operator advised him to send a letter explaining this, and to include the bar code sheet that came with the checklist letter. The letter was sent on March 18, 2011.

On March 30 and April 5, 2011 we received another letter via post mail and e-mail, again requesting the AOS checklist. Everytime we called the NVC telephone number, and spoke to the operator, they always advised us, we should disregard the notice and wait for 20 days to review the letter we send. Until now, we are still waiting for next step.

By the way, here is the text from NVC e-mail on April 5, 2011.

The NVC, has received the requested Immigrant Visa Application (DS-230).However, we are still

waiting for the response to the checklist letter for the Affidavit of Support (Form I-864). Please return

the requested information so that we may complete the processing of your case.

Is anyone here have the same situation like ours? Please help! I am really appreciate it! Thank you!
