Why would so many from the "past generation" have to die off when they in fact brought about this wave of diversity that you speak of?

I'm wondering what other nations should die off too.. or perhaps the limited diversity is fitting for Japan and Peru?

When one compares our country and the generations before us with most of the world, I think we come out ahead of most places around the world.

I think I expanded on that perhaps a bit- those that are intolerant towards the nascent diversity we see in this country are being thinned out from the herd by age. This means entire attitudes that have been passed down through the generations, of which we see a greater understanding of diversity as a strength for the nation, this nation specifically, and a decrease in those backwards attitudes that in a way have become focused into smaller, yet more vocal pockets of blatant intolerance.

When I go to the gym or the grocery store or function at my work, diversity is not a strength, it's most often meaningless and sometimes a problem, like when I was at the sandwich shop last week despite me telling the girl three times (even with hand gestures) =no mayonnaise...... she still put it on there.

So tell me how this country is "Better now" , in meaningful ways?

I wonder the same thing too when there are so many ethnic enclaves throughout the USA. It resembles Balkinization more than anything else. How does that make us strong?

Sometimes I think it is done on purpose to divide and conquer. This country is more divided than it has been in generations. And it is more diverse than it has ever been. And puppeteers are laughing all the way to the bank.

Liberal white guilt?

More evidence that liberal thought is associated with mental illness. Fixation with chronic feelings self guilt definitely isn't normal. Maybe some day there will be a medication to cure it. It's not a "guilt" conference. Did anyone commenting actually read what is written on the site?

I can see where understanding the automatic advantages one has received in society would be beneficial for educators in understanding how to better to serve the needs of students who are a part minority groups that do not receive these same privileges.

And it's not like middle aged white dudes are going to lose their privileged place in society anytime soon, so relax.
