After a few weeks of feeling like this is never going to be over, i called the NVC on a whim and the message said our case was completed on Feb 6 :D yay!

I just have a question because i've been trying to gauge how long it will take until they assign us an interview date (at montreal). What is the 'package 3, package 4' stuff on the search timelines function? Should I be worried that we haven't received these packages, are they something that is sent from Montreal or am I confusing them with the packages we've already filed with the NVC?

any general guesses (wild as they may be) as to how long we'll have to wait for an interview would be much appreciated.. so far our process has gone very smoothly -- no rfes etc. thanks!

My case was completed on November 17th 2005. Interview assigned Feb.6th 2006. Interview date is March 20th.

It seems like Montreal might be speeding up a bit again, so hopefully you won't have the four month wait I did. :)

Package three you already recieved. It was the package from the NVC with the DS-230 that you sent back along with the police check, long form birth certificate, etc.

Package four will arrive after your interview date is assigned.

Hi, guys. Sometimes I can't help it but wish for the NVC to give more consideration in giving more slots of interview schedules to CR1/IR1 petition holders. I know the number of slots available also depends on the embassy you wil lbe working on, but its unbelievable to see the tons of schedule given to K1 petitions. No wonder the embassy have a hard time catching up. The waiting for the interview is the most excruciating part especially when the case has been completed.

07.05.05 - Submitted form I-130 at USCIS in Germany

12.09.05 - CASE COMPLETED

March 27, 2006 - INTERVIEW!!!

PUT On AR (Cenomar thing!)

April 26 - VISA ISSUED

April 28, 2006 - VISA DELIVERED!!!

May 7 - FLY TO THE US! YEHEY!
