Interview experience at the USEM (04-14-2011)

Thought I wanna share this...

My interview was ok yesterday! they wouldn't let me filled up the courier form if i was disapprove right?!:):yes: Well, they require me to submit another CENOMAR and NBI with my wrongly spelled maiden name because they notice that my birth certificate has annotation correcting my middle name (typo error). This is unexpected tho, I haven't read anything like that here in vj. Don't get me wrong , we're grateful to vj! :thumbs:! when I was looking for sample filled-out forms, I found this website so we decided to become a member!

I wouldn't say this would be a warning for those visa applicants with corrections in their birth certificate tho because I went to NBI this morning and inquired this time about my mother who is being petiton by my sister in CA. I asked them if i can get another NBI in advance for my mother who had to change her name in the marriage contract. I was thinking maybe the Embassy would ask her the same thing during her interview. His advice was just to wait for the Embassy to request for it. So we're expecting more delays I guess! :unsure:

Yes, if you filled out the courier form, then your visa was approved...pending the submittal of your CENOMAR and NBI.
