Can I just list my assets as I do not have any income (I'm a stay at home MOM). If so- how much $$ would need be listed- I do own a home in the US outright that we would be living so no mortgage or rent. We also have 3 children together so would I need to show more to "cover" them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have no income then yes, you can sponsor on assets only; it's what we did. You will need 3 times the 125%, so for 5 people about $100'000, but if there is no income at all, you are better off well above the minimum. Also, some consulates will not accept your principal and only residence for the AoS, as it is considered undue hardship to have to sell it.

The above is correct but just for clarity, you would list your home as an asset and document it but it is a Consular officer's judgment call whether to consider that equity as liquid and available to support your spouse. Do you or your husband have other liquid assets? What country is he coming from?
