are videos accpeted as proof?

for my i-129f (k-1) application i sent a lot of proof, some of which were CDs with recorded videos of my trips to morocco and engagement party...i noticed a lot of things are not allowed in the embassy for the interview and i read somewhere that usb ports are not allowed as proof...my question is, will they consider the videos i sent with the original application as evidence? are they able to even look at it? thanks for all your help in advance.

NO, although they seem like perfect proof. They are unacceptable. I tried to give my Attourney 2 and she said: No as well. I read his before somewhere. You think that would be good proof but they don't have the time to watch videos. They are into Paper Dopcuments I guess.

they are a great proof but they will not give time to watch it for sure

It has nothing to do with whether they've got time (although they don't). They don't accept any electronic media as evidence.

No USBs, no data savers no external hard drives, no CDs no DVDs no VHS, no MP3s or MP4s.

It all gets thrown away. I hope the CDs you put in were copys. The embassy cannot accept or allow any of these things either, no electronics not even cellphones. In Canada the sign even says no knitting needles or sewing items of any kind.

w0w i had not idea...im glade we kept copies...excluding the videos they cant see, i hope the evidence i sent was enough!

You cannot submit any form of electronic evidence but you can print screen shots from your videos if there is anything compelling in them. I submitted screen prints of several things that I wanted to include with our photo evidence that we had only captured on video.

It wasn't that long ago that USCIS questioned using digital photos as evidence. It may not be that long before adjucators will be watching petitioners and beneficiaries "getting it on" in semi porn home videos!!

The videos will not be looked at. My aunt had her interview and she brought in videos of the wedding ceremony and they did not want to accept it.

Disagreed. They disallow video BECAUSE it would take much more time to wade through, thus decreasing administrative efficiencies. Makes perfect sense here.
