Filed in October and was looking for NOA2 approval. Received email today pending for additional information UGH!!!!! Called customer service at UCIS no help at all. All they said was you need to wait 7-days and letter explaining what is needed was mailed yesterday. I wonder hmmmmmm......I sent everything they requested.

Couple things it may be:

I put Shanghai as consulate and it is Guangzhou

Also, divorce record and birth certificate are in Chinese (no translation or notary)

Would either of these cause "additional information needed"?

I hope its not something stupid like forgot to put N/A or none in the wrong place

Not a happy camper right now......... :(

The divorce record and birth certificate needed to be translated to English when you send it back, you send in the one written in Chinese and the English translation no notarization required this is part of your RFE..... The city where she is supposed to apply for the packet 3 and the place for her interview....None is what they are looking for answered in all questions N/A is not acceptable. Or maybe you forgot to answer all the questions on your application for K-129F. Do not worry about this if you got an RFE a very simple question to follow to correct the problem....normally they will send you all the application and what you need done is to correct what they want you to do.... Instruction will be on top of the application you send in....once you received this just follow the instruction they want and send it back via Express Mail with signature. You may pay a lot of money but it is worth it. I did the same thing and we did not wait too long to receive our NOA2 approval we only waited a couple of days so no worry there. Take a deep breath and relax. Just wait and see how it goes......
