NVC AVS & Electronic processing

Tried checking the AVS system with our GZO number and it wasn't recognized but I tried again with the GUZ number and it said they mailed out a package on March 17th (two days after the last fee paid). Not sure what is going on. Is it normal that the GZO number isn't recognized? and why in the world would they mail a package if we are opted in for EP. Everything else has been by email. Is this just a normal snafu or is there something else going on that I'm missing?

I had the same thing, spoke with a human in the NVC they didn't give me a good answer. I also got the GZO number and failed when using the AVR system. From what I figure they can retrieve my GZO number on their computer system. Let me know if you get a better answer other then- "EP case number switch is slow"

And right now, I got a RFE wrong type of Chinese passport. But once I turn that it my case should be completed state Human in NVC.

Continue log in the payment portal until you see a log in failed message.

ALSO get a hold of a live human in NVC...I found out that I got a RFE and lost only 5 days time, otherwise it could have been weeks.

And VJ people told me, the when doing EP don't rely on AVR system.

They need time to switch your case to electronic processing while GUZ is going. No worrys. When your case completely switchs to EP, you will be contacted by emails in the process. We did EP and we never checked our status online. Everything goes very smoothly and quickly.

if you can log in to the online payment portal with the GZO #, then the OPT IN was successful.

forget the AVR for status, for now...

If yer calling in to NVC to talk with a human, remind the human yer doing EP, and make sure the OPT IN was successful, you have a GZO #, and they've taken yer IV and AOS sets into the casefile already. Sometimes 'they' need some encouragement..
