Calling the ref a faggot doesn't necessarily mean Kobe is a bigot, but he should apologize for using that slur towards an NBA official, in a game, on TV, and explain to the public why he said it.

Sonics? Wow. I got a chance to see them play in Phoenix back in the 90's when Payton and McMillan were still in the league. That was a damn shame when the team packed up and left Seattle.

Yeah, my hate for the Lakers goes back about 20 years. I'm a Suns fan until I die. I even tried liking the Lakers when I lived in Southern California, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. They are the Yankees of basketball - you either love 'em or hate 'em.

I remember watching the Suns play the Sonics back when Phoenix had Paul Westphal, and the the Van Arsdale twins. That's when the Pacific Division was loaded... Rick Berry with Golden State, Kareem and the Lakers, and Bill Walton and Portland. Good days gone by.
