Are co-sponsors allowed for K-1 visa's in the Philippines? I do make 125% of the poverty limit but I was just curious. I have been gathering things for me and a co-sponsor but if they are not going to be taken into consideration at the interview then I don't know if I will send them. I just want to be sure if it is accepted. I thought it could be used as insurance because it would show that my co-sponsor would help if needed. Any thoughts or experiences?

Normally they are not accepted, though exceptions have been made if the co=sponsor is a close relative of the petitioner and the petitioner has a good reason for needing a co-sponsor, and good prospects (such as petitioner is a student or recent graduate)

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
