Well we had a very small civil ceremony for now before we have a bigger wedding in about a year and my husband worked the next day so I posted the next day!

JenT,

One thing that you're missing is that not every VJer is K1. (With acknowledgement to Frances for pointing it out first.)

Just noticed that some have been BACK quite soon after the ceremony... I can't imagine that I'd want to spend that much time diverted from my 'new life' after having been apart for so long, but perhaps I'm missing something???

Anyone???

Jen

Yes, of course you are right... so that will skew the poll %... I'm always more interested in the comments than in the %'s anyway!

The people who post here just fascinate me..... the dynamics behind every keyboard are SO different, and yet here we all are, converging on a mutual topic....

I was always interested in sociology, but not enough to be serious about it....

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

We posted a couple times the day after because we still had family here with us and couldn't leave on our honeymoon until they had left to go home.

Joel and I sit together in the same room on our pc's...chatting in VJ chat, or reading forums together. This is one way we spend time together. :)

We had a long day, even with a smallish wedding (about 75), but we didn't feel like going out after..must have gotten home about 10 or 11. Mom/Dad kept the kiddo for a few days, but Craig's parents were still here in town, and we weren't going anywhere anyway, so I posted when we got back home. We stayed in our wedding clothes for probably about an hour looking at our cards, etc. So....I made just one post in my wedding dress before coming off the computer for the night! M.

I pretty much waited until after the DIVORCE was final before I started posting here again... which was about two years from the time we were married... LOL

Does that count??

heh
