I just got police records for my fiance today from when he lived in the U.S. On his records he has traffic tickets like, driving with impaired, failing to stop at stop sign, and driving without a liscense. Will those things cause our visa to not get approved? What are some things on police records that would cause a visa to be denied??

Did he take care of them, or are they still outstanding against him? That would probably the biggest issue.

Convictions for DUI or other traffic violations probably aren't major enough on their own to cause an outright denial, but they may raise a few questions. If he has other criminal convictions that you didn't mention, especially any that are considered "crimes of moral turpitude" - that's a totally different story.

The instructions are clear about traffic violations. Read them again.
