Wow! All the VSC approvals are completely bogus then. All those approvals should be recalled and properly adjudicated with proper security checks. It looks like VSC is just putting all their I129F petitions on "auto-approval" fast track processing.

Unbelieveable. I can't imagine having to gather all of the detail to write all of that!

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

 Where does it even mention VSC. The background/security check issue in the article was across all centers. The auto approval system that has been uncovered is ONLY EAD's.

If you didn't pick up the obvious humor in my post, then you're taking things way to seriously.

If anything, I want CSC to speed UP their processing, not for other centers to slow down.

I am sympathic to security concerns of law enforcement, but on the whole, I'd much rather USCIS be customer service oriented rather than security service oriented.

From a security perspecive, you can never do enough to secure everything. If I wanted total security, I'd be for a total police state and national ID and all that jazz, but I'm not.

I take particular interest in this statement:

Outdated IT Systems The IT systems at USCIS are antiquated, making it difficult or impossible even to share information from one district office to another. One IT professional at the agency told me recently that USCIS IT systems “could have been designed by a high school kid.”

a very scary read...

these are the sort of people with our lives in their hands!

the ones who have actually been prosecuted! WOW!

but I also thought they were building a new service center at missouri to handle the influx?? not happening now?? I thought it was supposed to be state of the art blah blah...

Well I still cant say Im surprised though.. except by the amount of corruption, This whole system needs one massive overhaul, and not just by shuffling more paperwork around but by starting with a clean and new policy base that is simple for those processing to understand.. ie how many people have been affected because of differences in the interpretation of policy regarding filing? many many people....
