In Jordan, they called them the 'western toliets'. The McDonald's in Irbid has a nice one

The first time you flew to the middle east to see your so, what did your family say?

I was already in Morocco when I met my husband (then boyfriend). When my family found out about him, they were overjoyed. When they all flew out to Morocco for the first time (all 5 of them together!) they were even happier! It was an instant fit. My brother married an Indian woman, so they are interested which nationality will be next (one brother left). I am blessed with a very open-minded, free-thinking family that values genetic diversity.

That's really cool... I'm really just curious I guess because we don't see it much... the USC is male and the ME fiance is female... how did you meet and how do her parents feel about your marriage?

I met her during the war. Sadly to say her parents passed away of natural causes. I did meet and spoke with some of her family members over the internet (webcam) and they are OK with it. She is a wonderful woman(L) .

well apparently my mother now knows that I'm going to Egypt and she's very ill now because of staying up all night worrying about me. Don't I love my kids? How could I do this to them? What will they do once you die over there or when you can't return because Egypt won't let you leave you know once you go there. Have you been brainwashed by Islam? Do you take drugs????????

At a certain point, you just stop listening to all the worrying and nagging and just do what ya gotta do.

Let her know that you have a backup plan in case things dont' work out, you have hotels all lined up, etc.
