August 19, 2010 - Mailed I-130 Petition for Mother
February 11, 2011 - Received email notification that I-130 was APPROVED and NOA2 was mailed 2/10/11 YAY!
April 11, 2011 - CASE COMPLETE!!!
April 25, 2011 - Medical Exam at St. Luke's - PASSED!!!!
May 3, 2011 - Interview - APPROVED!!!!
May 25, 2011 - POE Houston, Texas (Mom, welcome to U.S.A.)
I-130 Petition for Siblings
November 18, 2010 - Filed I-130 for two sisters

September 2014 - Received NOA-2 - Petition Approved

I-130 Mom's Petition for Unmarried Sons
June 24, 2011 - File I-130 for Unmarried Sons over 21
August 2014 - Received NOA2 - Petitions Approved

10-01-2010- Sent I-129f to TX

10-06-2010- Text & Email K-1 Rec'd by Texas Office (forward K-1 to VSC)

10-08-2010- BOA check cleared

10-12-2010- Rec'd NOA 1 (hardcopy) by Postal Service

10-14-2010- "Touched"

03-07-2011- 5 month mark/called USCIS for SRMT/told to callback 30 days later

03-07-2011- Emailed Senator Nelson

03-15-2011- Rec'd email from Senator/Release of Record Request

03-28-2011- Letter from Senator to give them 30-45 days to find out something

04-06-2011- 30 days expired/was told to give 25 more days

04-12-2011- Put in an Expedite Request "ONPT"

04-14-2011- Rec'd Email Notice of APPROVAL NOA2

04-25-2011- NVC rec'd case, NEW Case number given

04-26-2011- Senator sends me a letter "They found I am APPROVED" (no kidding)

04-28-2011- Package left the NVC heading to Dakar, Senegal

05-02-2011- Package Rec'd at Consulate

05-03-2011- Set Medical Exam and Interview Dates

05-09-2011- Medical Exam Completed and picked up

05-12-2011- INTERVIEW!

what date did you file the affidavit of support???

It's in my signature line. I mailed my AOS Feb 29.

ok i see!! you sent the affivadit of support form in as part of the AOS( i-485) Right??

The AOS stands for Affidavit of Support not for Adjustment of Status or I-485. It depends in what immigration type you are filing.

Congrats.. we just received an email from NVC for my nanay-in-law's interview ( May 13 at 8:30)..

I just have one question... Does she need to bring copy of AOS on her interview?

ROC journey

09-03-2012 Filed ROC

09-07-2012 Received NOA1 stating they received my ROC pocket

11-13-12 Received mail for biometrics schedule ( good thing I called n follow up, coz I didnt received the first bio sched they sent me)

11-27-2013: Biometrics schedule

04-19-2013: received mail stating they approved my ROC ( 4-16-2013) no interview)

6/7/13 received txt/email updated case status & order card

6/13/2013: Received 10 yr GC

Thank U God!

N-400 journey

10/21/13 - send pocket to uscis ( Phoenix, Az lockbox)

10/23/13 - pocket received by uscis

10/25/13 - received acceptance letter

11/02/13 - received biometrics letter scheduled on 11/13/13

11/15/13 - received text/email " in line for interview "

01/06/14 - received txt/email scheduled for interview

01/13/14 - received interview letter set on Feb. 10.

02-10-14 - Interview ( San Fernando Valley Field Office, Chartsworth Ca.)

02-10-14 - interview Day.. Approved...

02-14-14 - received updates case scheduled for oath taking ??

03-14-14 - OATH TAKING @ Montebello, Ca.

It is recommended to have copies of everything that was mailed to NVC.

im filing for my son to come live here (i-130) basically im wondering how long after i send my i-130 to i have to file the AOS form ?

File the AOS after your I-130 is approved.
