What is the timescale between the London medical and interview granted?

Roughly a month. See my timeline

K-1 VISA TIMELINE

09/27/2010 - Mailed I-129F

10/01/2010 - NOA1

12/17/2010 - Engagement!

12/17/2010 - I visited England

03/04/2011 - NOA2

03/17/2011 - Consulate Received

03/21/2011 - Packet 3 Mailed to London

03/23/2011 - Medical

03/24/2011 - Fiance received Packet 3 (already sent out)

04/27/2011 - Interview - Approved!

05/09/2011 - Visa Received

05/09/2011 - Flight

I had my medical March 28th and my interview is on April 26th. They say at the embassy that they issue packet 4 about 3 weeks after your medical...I got it about 10 days after. Hope this helps

3 - 4 weeks or so... looking at recent posts, etc. it looks more to be 4 weeks right now.

I had my medical March 28th and my interview is on April 26th. They say at the embassy that they issue packet 4 about 3 weeks after your medical...I got it about 10 days after. Hope this helps

10/15/11.... hard copies of NOA1 for AOS + EAD received (dated 10/7)

10/18/11.... successful biometrics walk-in, Santa Ana, CA (appt for 11/1)

12/12/11.... call in to USCIS. Told to call back after 12/26.

02/10/12.... Hubby's GC in hand!

Naturalization Journey

09/29/22.... filed N-400 online

09/30/22... NOA/biometrics reuse

01/23/23... interview scheduled for 02/28 

02/28/23... successful interview + oath ceremony in Santa Ana, CA! so proud! certificate of naturalization received! --> Read the review here!

Im not sure there is any ryhme or reason to how they schedule our original interview was 6 weeks after medical.. we did inquire about getting one sooner and explained why we would like an earlier interview date... they moved us up the april 15... less they 24 hour notice... so I have stopped trying to figure out the method lol good luck!

July 24,2010- Nigel proposed!!

September 1, 2010- posted the k-1 (lewisville address)

September 3, 2010 - forwarded to dallas

September 6, 2010- recieved in dallas

September 7, 2010 - forwarded to vermont service center

September 8, 2010- offical date of NOA1

September 9, 2010- text and email alerts 2:30 a.m.!!! but worth being woke up to

September 10, 2010 check cashed

October 3, 2010- joined VJ going bonkers waiting....

March 4, 2011 NOA2 after a long 177 days waiting ( no text email or onliine update.. still says in review)

March 10, 2011 NVC received and issued LND#

March 12, 2011 NOA2 hard copy received

March 17, 2011 we are at London.. packet 3 sent out

March 18, 2011 packet 3 sent back to London

March 22,2011 MRV-paid

April 1, 2011 Medical

April 15, 2011 Interview- Approved! orignal interview date May 13 requested to move forward received less than a days notice.

I don't think it has anything to do w/ the wedding date... ours is August 27, 2011 and we're all done with with everything! Just waiting til June so he can come over!!

There really does seem to be no rhyme or reason to it...unless they take in consideration to when packet 3 was sent it? Or maybe the date of the wedding?
