Question about London/UK Courier

Hello Everyone,

My fiance and I are looking at flights etc as his interview is in 2 weeks on the 27th.

Since it's on a Wednesday, we are hoping it will only take a few days to get his visa back (we aren't booking until we get the text message, because we want him to fly the day after his visa is in hand) So my question is, does the courier service deliver on the weekends? Fri, sat, or sun?

Also, to the recent interviewees, please share how long it took to get your visa back.

It took 6 days from my interview to receiving my visa. They deliver Mon-Fri

No, they don't deliver on weekends, only Monday through Friday.

Also, I never got a text message. I only found out that my visa was due to be delivered on the next working day through the online tracking system (it is only updated after the visa has been processed and handed to the courier company).

It usually takes 3-5 working days between a successful interview and visa delivery, however occasionally there are cases where it takes 7-10 working days for processing and delivery, especially at periods with bank holidays etc.

So my advice would be not to book flights until he has the actual passport with the visa IN HAND.

P.S. As you can see in my timeline, it took 4 working days for my visa to arrive.

Ours took three working days - interview on a Tuesday morning, visa and passport received Friday afternoon.

My fiance's was supposed to be delivered on a Monday. I waited all day in the house and finally called them late in the day. The truck had broken down in the morning so the rest of Monday's deliveries weren't going to be done. It came after 4 PM on Tuesday. Point is, if we had a flight the day after they said it was out for delivery, we would have missed the flight. Another person I know got the visa and either her name or a date was wrong. She had to send it back to London via courier to get it corrected. Stuff happens. The only sure thing is having it in hand before making plans.
