Question regarding I-751 Part 1

Hi everybody,

i started to work on my I 751 and i have a huge dilema and i hope that you folks will be able to help me out.

When I obtained my GC thru AOS I was citizen of one country. Meantime I obtained Canadian Citizenship. When I applied for it was long before AOS. Since 2009 I was living in USA. I only went to Canada when the Citizenship was granted (applied for it in 2007).

Here is my question now:

Where it says COUNTRY OF CITIZENSHIP what should i say: the country were i was born (and i am still a citizen; and that what it was on the AOS form) or Canada or both?

I hope that somebody else was in this position and had 2 citizenships and can help me out or somebody that knows. I called USCIS today to ask them and they said they can not answer to my question.

Honestly, NO clue! Maybe try calling USCIS again to speak with someone different and ask again?

Hopefully someone else will weigh in on their thoughts.

I would use the same country of citizenship that you have been using for all your other paperwork for the process. Less confusion and explanation to do.

I agree with Inky, just put citizenship from country where u were born

I will use the one that i used on first forms; i called again USCIS and the told me the same.... .to ask a lawyer. Thanks again and good luck. I will send my forms on Monday.
