Submit the 2000 pages, you have to do what you have to do. Just my two cents.

One of the items they want is:

Petitioner's parents:

Provide a sworn statement from the Petitioner's mother and father where they indicate their knowledge of the Petitioner's marriage. They must specifically indicate when they became aware of the Petitioner's relationship. In addition, provide both parents complete names and dates of birth. Also, provide their current address(es) and phone numbers. If either has passed away, provide a civilly registered death certificate reflecting the death.

My parents and I (all the kids and grand kids) are estranged from my parents....I don't think my marriage is any of their business and cant believe they want this information from me...what shall I do or say?????

Write a statement explaining that you have become estranged from your parents. You will want to include the date you last spoke with them and that date preceded the beginning of your relationship and marriage.

I sent everything. You know there is only the norm for couples who have never lived together. All the records of communication, gifts, etc. All the marriage related stuff, photos..etc. Statements from half a dozen people. We make sure everything was together, organized and touched each category in appropriate evidence.

All the required doc's and everything else. 500+ pages as someone on here told me to front load it so i did.

all my records of everything, didn't leave anything out, that is how detailed I am. I am thinking they lost it and want it again.

The congressman's office has an email to them asking if they have my original submission. If they do she is going to ask them what the problem is with it.

I made 3 huge PDF files of the doc's and I sent her a copy for review. She hopes to hear back from USCIS by Thanksgiving.

Now I am hearing don't send that much again this time....really? This is our life in the palm of their hands...I am sooo stressed and upset!!

They did something similar to me. They wanted copies of cards and correspondence before, during and after courtship/relationship/marriage. When we sent in application, we included copies of 79 cards with envelopes(postmarks) from me to my wife and 77 cards from her to me. They wanted more evidence!? We also included 60 photos(including pics with my kids, parent's and buddies... and they wanted more photos!? They also asked for info about my trip abroad to marry, in the app and on the marriage certificate, it clearly indicated we married in Pennsylvania, USA. And touching on that they wanted copies of my checking and saving accounts before my trip abroad to marry. I didn't travel anywhere to marry, she came here, we married and she returned to Greece, 2 and a half weeks later. It also asked for hotel stays overseas...we never stayed in any hotels, I stayed at her home and she stayed at mine. They wanted copies of passports...AGAIN?!? They were included in initial app too. They wanted my kids from previous marriage birth certs too(not a big deal, not sure why though). Plus other evidence, like bank accts, credit cards etc...we included this in initial app too...she is authorized on my CC and I on hers and we added her to one of my checking accounts. It also asked for info on all of my(petitioner, US citizen) relatives in the USA. I though they wanted my entire Christmas card list, but I just included mom, dad, brother and sister. They also asked for notarized statements from my parent's. I thought the same as you did they lose all my info? Do I send all this same info again or just any new info?

I sent ALL of the info again, plus new info and where they were asking for things not possible or relevant I wrote a simple response to it with a short explanation to convey my point. After it was all said and done, they called none of my family. It was all just BS hoops to jump through. But it's their rules and we just have to go by them even if they change them mid-game. I wish you good luck, they approved my app within a month, maybe a little less after sending all those docs and proof again.
