Wow GUZ seems so much more complicated...maybe its cause I am reading it for the first time. India is complicated too but now it seems like cake if anyone asks me questions about it. lol

Has your wife received her visa yet Ryan?

Yeah, the light is at the end of the tunnel.. 33 days and counting... :)

I always think INDIA is way more complicated because of the ambiguity thrown in from VFS (We Want Originals, Gumby!)

VFS, IMO, needs a massive overhaul. Dontcha get tired of the same questions about them? If only they'd change up their website, to reflect 'if you have NVC activity, don't bring us any documents you submitted to NVC' .

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

-=-=-=-=-=R E A D ! ! !=-=-=-=-=-

Whoa Nelly ! Want NVC Info? see http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

Congratulations on your approval ! We All Applaud your accomplishment with Most Wonderful Kissies !

Oh I totally agree with your Darnell.

The website lacks the content you need to submit documents. When you contact them with an e-mail they give back a crock full of $hit general response that does not even answer your question. When you call their phones rings, it and rings and no one picks up. They only way we can complete this on time is by word of mouth and information here. Then on top of it their are different requirements based on locality so it just adds to the confusion.

If they allowed us to update their website we could reduce the amount of questions ten fold.

I'm happy to have gotten thru the process pretty quickly...but I worked pretty dag on hard to get thru in a timely manner.

I don't even think you need that.

I think you need your passport with the I-551 stamp and your birth certificate (with translation if in foreign language) and you should be good to go to apply again.

Sorry you got an RFE.

What all did you send for the bonafide evidence with your I-130?

You have to be thorough, your not dealing with an easy country in terms of U.S. Immigration. Lots of Pakistan filers on VJ are in A.P. currently.

You have to be thorough, your not dealing with an easy country in terms of U.S. Immigration. Lots of Pakistan filers on VJ are in A.P. currently.

I sent everything. You know there is only the norm for couples who have never lived together. All the records of communication, gifts, etc. All the marriage related stuff, photos..etc. Statements from half a dozen people. We make sure everything was together, organized and touched each category in appropriate evidence.

All the required doc's and everything else. 500+ pages as someone on here told me to front load it so i did.

all my records of everything, didn't leave anything out, that is how detailed I am. I am thinking they lost it and want it again.

The congressman's office has an email to them asking if they have my original submission. If they do she is going to ask them what the problem is with it.

I made 3 huge PDF files of the doc's and I sent her a copy for review. She hopes to hear back from USCIS by Thanksgiving.

Now I am hearing don't send that much again this time....really? This is our life in the palm of their hands...I am sooo stressed and upset!!

Sorry to hear this, it appears you received the lengthy RFE that I have seen other VJ members post about. Hopefully something comes of the inquiry sent by your Congressman and you will not have to resubmit anything. However, you should prepare for the probability that you will have to resubmit the exact same items (all 500+ pages) you submitted with the initial filing.

Yes, I am ready to print them if need be.

I have already started printing new data from the time we were married. I am already at 700+ pages. I don't know if I am going over board or not but I feel too much information is better than not enough. Everything is properly market with a bright orange paper which states what is enclosed in that section so it is easy for them to determine when a new item is being addressed.

Am I going over board?

Yes, that is my take on it also.

I will continue to gather info. I am now in the process of gathering new statements from family and friends and ALL fb records, text messages, skype calls.

They are even asking for a statement from my employer stating I was working at the time I left between the dates and salary. I am no longer employed there but I don't see why they wouldn't provide that info on letter head for me.

Statements from my parents but I wont supply those as I am not in contact with my parents from years. I will just write a statement in regards to our estranged relationship and have my brother and sister attest to it as well because we all are estranged from our parents.

They are asking for allot of information and that is what they will get....
