Wow. I just got more info from the AVR than I was from the operators! It says they received my RFE response on Sept. 21st. Praying to God we get assigned an interview during October!

If you look at the Immigration Timelines spreadhseet for CR-1, filter down to just UK, there is someone assigned an Oct 31 date... so... just keep in mind that you are probably looking at a November interview date since you aren't case closed. (Not what you want to hear, but... )

I got all the interview documents ready to go this weekend. First thing Monday morning it will be off to India.

It's pretty heavy..I want to say a good 4 lbs of documents....

Hi Dave, good job getting that task done. I saw you write on another thread about which service you should use to send it to India and that you indicated you used USPS Priority Mail in the past. While delivery confirmation (in addition to USPS Priority Mail) is not the same as tracking like USPS Express, DHL, UPS, FedEx, etc. and I don't know if the postal service in India would even scan it, but having something like could generate some record.

Hmmm... I know with USPS Priority mail, they do scan all the documents in the USA and once it leaves for international desitination it will not show a status update at all. It does say on the tracking from the USA side that it is on it's way to India though.

I have no idea on India though. My wife has sent documents via India Speed Post and they always say you can track the package and it never works. I ends up in my mailbox unexpectedly when I keep checking the tracking service online.

No interview date yet. The operator told me that they only schedule interview dates together and it happens usually second week of every month. So she told me to check back in October 2nd week but I will call around Oct 1 anyway again )

Told me the same thing ... will call back in 1st week of October,, lol.

Any ideas on when we could be scheduled? October still, or aim for November?

Some of the items are culture/religion/country specific items.

• Jewelry Receipts (both sides) for the wedding.
• Receipts for the party plot where the wedding was held.
• Pictures of the Wedding in a small flip book album with family members on both sides and specific important religious parts of the ceremony (Hasta Melap, Fire Rounds, Sindoor, Mangal Sutra etc.) THIS IS VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT!
• Hand Written Cards and letters
• Phone Records
• Skype Screen Shots and call history
• Summary of Instant Messaging transcripts. Will be done on a month by month basis. (I would have over 500-600 pages if I printed it all).
• E-mail transcripts
• Photos showing after wedding relationship (Her parents marriage anniversary we had a small party etc)
• Wedding Invitation (3rd Cousin's) from USA that is addressed and invited and recognizes both of us as a couple.
• Facebook profiles showing relationship status as married to each other.
• Honeymoon Hotel and Room Service Receipts.

This is a pretty good list for both of us as we had an arranged marriage.

Also I sent the documents today and it ended up costing me around $ 31 sending it first class USPS. Should take 6-10 days to get there.

I might be sending some more stuff as the next 2 months will have more chat transcripts so I will try to get those ready and sent that to her before the interview in early November.

I was thinkin to take the required documentation.

You list looks good, if you think of anything else you think you should take with you, then take it. Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Ah,, sorry, just now seen ur timeline. Yeah, id say soo,, I called everyday lol, took me 5 days after my RFE was in, and case complete! Than the waiting on a dang interviewdate starts! Tiring!
