I'm sure this has already been answered but, how do we find out if the AOS package has been accepted?

I only knew because I got an RFE (for the fee!) via email about a week after sending both packets in. Ringing an operator told me that everything else was accepted. If the first one doesn't help, ring again. There's a couple of lovely people working there.

The IV bill was invoiced on Monday (9/12) and early Tuesday morning (9/13), I paid the bill. Now waiting for the payment portal to show PAID.

Got our Case Number today!! Sent our choice of agent email as soon as I could. Wife's asleep, so sent the email from her address for her

I'm glad we are finally on our way. The woman on the phone said it would be 20-30 business days before they sent us instructions on what to do next. Is that bypassed by emailing the choice of agent email?

Ok,this might be a stupid question, but what documents actually need to be sent in with the DS-230 to the NVC, and what documents need to just be obtained for the embassy interview? Cz I am seeing in some sources that the original documents such as the birth cert. need to be mailed, but then another source is saying to save it for the interview. Maybe someone can clarify it for me...kinda feel like I'm suffering from information overload

You have your case number, do you have the invoice identification number (IIN)? Having the IIN will allow you to sign into the payment portal and pay the appropriate bills.

Are both your packages (AOS and IV) ready for submission, once the bills are paid (and show as paid on the payment portal) then the packages can be sent. No need to wait for any instructions (you will be waiting a long time if you do).

Yeah, I have both the Case number and IIN. I've tried signing in but i get a SIF. I'm assuming our info is still being loaded.

We've had all the paperwork together since July so I just have to pay postage and drop it in the mail

Just got the email from NVC and logged in and paid our AOS bill. I've never been this happy to pay a bill. Weird feeling...

When should the IV Fee be available to pay?

The IV bill showed as paid today, so I emailed the IV package to the NVC. Things seem to be moving at light speed now compared to waiting on USCIS and waiting on a case number after receiving the NOA2.

AOS Bill showed 'PAID' today! Sent off our AOS package to NVC so that they'll get it tomorrow. I really feel like we're going somewhere now!

Everything accepted on the 12th except I now have an RFE because I didn't think to include my bank statements and my joint sponsor's statements in the I-864! Grrrr! So angry with myself now!
