FRIENDS! I HAVE AN URGENT QUESTION!

My I-130 Priority date was April 29. I have been in the Philippines for the past month with my wife. We have been checking the USCIS page everyday. Even though I'm with my loved one, it was also a little depressing because we went over 120 days after NOA1.

This morning, I received an email from NVC. I thought this was odd, because the USCIS page STILL says under "Initial Review"

In the email, it says:

NVC Case Number: MNL2011******

Dear iamalmond:

The immigrant visa petition filed on behalf of Mrs. iamalmond has become eligible

for further processing at the National Visa Center (NVC).

Also, the AOS bill was attached along with the Choice of Agent form.

Does that mean our I-130 was approved? The USCIS page STILL says "Initial Review" as of this moment. I'm holding back most of my excitement until I know for sure!

Let your excitement out, you've been approved by USICS! Congrats!

Plus you have a case number from the NVC and the invoice for the AOS bill, you're ready to move forward.

Well I also thought about this too because I moved and changed my address with USCIS but when I changed my address with USPS I forgot to include the apartment number. However I did correct it within that same month.

I contacted our congressman's office last week and they are working on inquiring where our case is and I should hear something next week. At this point any news is better than Nothing.

So please keep us in your prayers and inshallah we will hear good news in a matter of a few days.
