Hang in there.

I understand that it's difficult to see all of us other April filers get approved and move on. But, just remember that it does take 5 months at minimum. You have to start thinking this way.

Once it's past 5 months...start panicking.

I finally got my case number today from NVC. It starts wth HNK. I am guessing that somehow signifies HongKong consulate which should be the one since beneficiary is in HongKong as a resident. Now, am I ready to send DS-3032 or do I need to wait for NVC to send me something first ? From this forum, I figured that we can email DS-3032 directly to NVC. But if I print the DS-3032 form online, do I need to worry about any specific barcodes sent by NVC ? Or am I thinking too much here ?

Just got an “REF” on my son AOS. I have already corrected my mistakes and prepared a new AOS for my son. My question is should I go ahead and submit the new AOS without having to wait for the letter in the mail??? Also, is this where I send my AOS in reference to “AOS REF”??? Need advise please. Thanks.

Did you call NVC ? They might have received your case package but take a few days to assign the case number. Overall, their operators are helpful and can give you good information.

I just called operator, they said it is not updated in system

Send the DS-3032 via e-mail ASAP. No need for barcodes or anything of that nature.

Thanks a lot. I want to confirm one thing. Do I fill out the DS-3032 PDF form and then attach to the email to NVC OR I just send a plain text email to NVC saying that the agent is blah blah.

Overall, their operators are helpful and can give you good information.

Bah to that! Sorry, but frustration is talking here.

Every day I've called, and every day the operators give me a different estimate with different excuses as to why I should be waiting this long. They are clueless! They read from scripts, and some of them are so rude.
