Just called NVC for the first time!! :thumbs: The operator said they have received our case but no Case Number yet, and to call back in 10-20 days :unsure: Waited not even 1 min for the operator and he was very nice, offered his help for any other inquiries. My NOA2 was July 14th.

01-16-2008 Met in Argentina, started dating

Hey guys,

I'm getting the AOS paperwork together for MJW's and my application. We recently got an RFE from the USCIS, so we will have some time before we get to the NVC stage but I want to be prepared now.

I was looking at the instructions and it says 'and/or a letter from your employer if you believe any of these items will help you qualify.' We will be using a joint sponsor who easily meets the minimum income. Do I need to include employment letters for myself and our joint sponsor, or is it just supplementary to the rest of the packet?

NVC finally received our file!!! Got my case number, invoice id number and beneficiary number today. YAY! The operator said to wait a few days for the emails to pay AOS and IV fees.

I'm not sure what the beneficiary number is for. Anyone know?? The operator just said it would be good for me to have it in addition to the case and invoice id numbers.

Hey Shanna!

The Beneficiary ID is used for those countries that are filing electronically. India is not one of those countries. Case Number and IIN is all we really need to worry about.

I just called them and they told me the same thing that they just received our case and it will take 2-4 weeks to send the next steps. I think it is standard response and thinking of calling them by in a week or so to get a case number. What do you guys say ? It has already been over a month since I got NOA2 through CSC!!
