Finally got my NVC case number this morning.

Took 40 days since NOA2.

Congrats Dave and Kinnari. After 15 business days they received our petition, but they didn't give me a case no. yet, they said I have to call again after 15 more days WTH LOL.

First of all, congrats!

You can now email the DS-3032 to the NVC designating an agent to receive correspondence from the NVC regarding your file. The agent can be anybody, you can even elect to have correspondence sent to you; most people choose the USC spouse as the agent. See this wiki for guidance on emailing the DS-3032.

The online payment portal should be accessible very shortly for the AOS bill to paid. Once the AOS bill is paid, the AOS package can be sent.

Once the DS-3032 is accepted, the IV bill will be available to be paid through the online payment portal, once that bill is paid, the DS-230 package can be sent.

To be able to access the online payment portal, you will need an individual identification number (IIN); this is different from the case number.

got email from NVC today!!! - wanting me to send in the Choice of Agent -i was thinkin on doing an email on that, but will the further processing also HAVE to be done by email correspondance? Any ideas ?

Wow! That is awesome you have your interview date already. I'm well jealous.

Do you have to go for the medical? I'm a little confused when you're allowed to make the appointment in London? I thought you first had to do the medical before they make the interview date...

Still waiting for my approval for noa2, priority date is 25 April. Really really hope it is soon!!!

My husband does have to go for his medical in London before his interview, he is going to schedule it asap to get it out of the way while he waits. They give you an interview date whether or not you have had the medical, at least in London- I don't know about other embassies. I think he could have gone during the NVC process but he did not.

None of the previous submitted forms ask for email address (Except g-1145 - which is specifically for USCIS I130 NOA1), then I am wondering how does NVC get to know about your email address and should you really wait until NVC asks for Choice of Agent, or it should be emailed (to NVC) as soon as NVC case number is generated?

Also, Can you let me know NVC's email address for sending out Choice of Agent form?

NVC will use the email from G-1145 to email you the NVC Case number... However if you are calling the AVR message or the Live operator and get to know that you have a NVC Case number ready, then you need to call/ give the operator the email address of you and your foreign spouse. Then they will be able to send email communication of the DS-3-32 to the foreign spouse and AOS fee bill to US spouse.....

Else, you will get those in regular mail (meaning if no G-1145 was sent with I-130 petition).

Got an RFE yesterday in the mail Now, we have what they want, copy of petitioners birth certificate and correct size photos of beneficiary, we will mail it to California today. I really hope this doesn't throw us off far. We really need the approval! Visa journey says an RFE adds an extra month?
