Ours both I-130 petitions have been approved since April 30…Called NVC several times and same answers “We have not received your files yet” But suddenly yesterday they have located our files and its in the building waiting to be uploaded into the system in about 2 to 4 weeks from now. Well, I hope that we all get through the NVC Black Hole soon.

OMG Brusik. Thank you for sharing this. This now gives me hope and helps me prepare. Because frankly I have been really examining a lot of timelines especially for Nigeria comparing to other countries and really couldn't figure out why it was 1 year to 2 year process. And saw alot of delays in the NVC process on the petitioners side. So thank you. Hey I am going to try and bet that 11 day NOA2 notification. That is so cool.

You have calmed me down alot. I do have a quickie question (you seem to be very knowledgeable). So things are out of date on this sight with forms and such. I am a bit confused with the K3, CR1/IR1. It's all inclusive now right? I mean I am just filing the I-130 Spousal Visa request (K3 I guess it is) all these numbers and acronyms.

Sorry about the questions and in the wrong thread. It's like the more I read before I file (I will finally file when I get back to the US next week) I just freak and am like OMG what about this and that.

Well anyway thank you so much for this.

This is the same number I used to speak to a live person when I called a few weeks ago. I don't think there is an actual option to speak to a customer service person, so I just chose the option that said I wanted to hear more about expediting my case and was able to speak to someone from there. The next day I was approved, so maybe the call actually prompted them to look at my case. I don't know if there is any rhyme or reason to their processes though.

Thank you for that info. I have been unable to get thru on my cell phone because I cant enter in the receipt number correctly. I need a land line...... :(

I just got off the phone with USCIS and we don't qualify for an expedite and the woman did not give me any information that I already didn't know. Case is in Review.

I don't know what everyone else did but I really front loaded my I-130, did anyone else do that? Maybe I went over board?
