Congrats!!!!!As per my point of view, if you get your BMB # today,then most probably nvc got your file 3 to 4 business ago, may on tus or wed.That how it works. I think you got bombay consulate which will make you little bit nervous cuz Bombay consulate taking long time period for interview date, usally 5-6 weeks after case completed. Chenia takes 3 weeks. Mine is done on 7/13 but not assign interview date. Hopefully get in sep.

Keep it mind NVC post interview list on 15 of each month.So let see in your case complete before 08/05 then you will get interview on sep.But your case will be done on 08/22 then you will get interview on oct.

That how it works. Our NOC2 received by NVC within 13 days, but now still wait for interview call.

So after all, It's same amount of time.

Ohhhh ya one more think for you cuz you will be dealing with BMB consulate. Send me personal message for tip.

Actually, day before when I called the operator asked for spouse details and said that the case is en route. That makes me beleive that they got it on Wednesday, as I call an operator daily around 9 PM.

The DS-3032 will be sent in another hour or so. We are ready with all the documents (including Police Clearance Certificates) and as and when the system allows us to pay and print the cover sheet with bar code, the documents will be dispatched. Hopefully we will make it by August 5th. We have people in Chennai but Mumbai - it will be a littkle challenge but By God's grace we will manage - we will get the medical stuff done in Hyderabad itself.

After going over almost all the replies posted, I noticed that California Center proccess I-130 Petitions faster than the Vermont Center. I have also noticed that, contradtary to my belif, they do not process petition based on when they were received. Vermont Center received my petition on February 14 and until now I have not heard anything from they as yet while there are other who have filed after February and got approved.

I think there must be a triage that takes place, based on country of beneficiary. Yemen must be pulled separately or something, because petitions are being processed from 40 to 150 days at both places.

It's worse than just "later than yours": there are some who filed May who have been approved! MANY later VT cases are jumping right in front of me at NVC to get scanned, and THAT really bugs me. Patience.... trying to have patience...

Are these addresses correct??? finding them on travel.state.gov is impossible, and the VJWiki and Guides contradict each other.

When you get to print out your cover sheets for the respective AOS and IV packets the address to send to is right on the cover sheet. I think the ATTN line was different for each one but that address you put is where I sent my packets. I would wait to get your own cover sheet to make sure of the address just to be safe in case they switch it up for some reason.

Hope you all are making progress with your applications. I am still waiting for NVC...

One question I have about Job title... (posting it here to see if anyone can help here)

Does the Job Title on Employment Verification Letter (to be sent with I-864) has to match EXACT with what is specified on G-325A.

Would it cause an RFE?

One of the Visa guide help wiki states that Job title must be consistent on all forms etc. (But, G-325A's column say.. "Occupation (Specify)" - and it seems Occupation and Current Job title can be different). Still I am not sure. Can someone please help.

Just got the e-mail saying my case has been located and it is en route to NVC...hopefully they have it in their system by the end of the day today.

Woo Hoo Go Dave!!! Hopefully mine is in that package too!!! When I called this morning the operator asked me some questions that noone else has asked before. I have a feeling my case is there as she was verifying dates of birth and things. She would have no way to verify them if they didnt receive our info from CSC I am guessing. She said it should be "very soon" and to call back tomorrow :-)

email from NVC today said "USCIS has informed the NVC, that your petition will be en route to the NVC."

that one made me mad - lead me to think they will sit on file for a while. I laughed at the part that said "6 to 8 weeks" until notification of instructions.

today's email from USCIS states:

"The file has been forwarded to the National Visa Center on 7/21/2011."

So yes, I think yours and ours were finally shipped out of CA last week.

I was approved on the 24th of June...it feels like years ago due to this. If the pace was going like it should, I bet I would have been right about done with NVC this week.
