sign up for the text & email message! You will get notified via text instead of having to check USCIS website.

Happy dance optional, but usually unavoidable.

:) best of luck

oh i signed up as soon as i got my case number! lol

i usually check everyday for touches. and from what it seems, people are seeing approvals on that site before they even get text or email notifications.

Just a question: did you set your preferences on the USCIS website for the sms?

The top sheet notification paper form was for the NOA1 receipt only.

oh ok. Then no issues. I did set the preference on USCIS website and got the email through them. But I did not know that the earlier form was only for NOA1. Good to see all the updates!

So where have been the last few days/week...

I am in Nursing school right now and the curriculum is very tough. So, I am unable to be on VJ as much as before.

Also, I have been suffering from anxiety, panic attacks and mild to moderate depression. Both Nursing School and the separation from my wife have really affected me mentally, physically and emotionally.

So that is where I have been...

I'll be in touch and will try to login from time to time...

Also...I have reached 15 days at NVC. I will send on the e-mail with NOA2 to see if they can locate it.

Good to see you back, Dave.

I have been completely obsessed with the Visa process... not healthy. I have had to force myself to do things non-visa-related (not hard to do with all the kids). Today I plan to take the kids on a field trip to get out of the house, away from the computer... but my mind is always on "how to get hubby home?!!"

It is not a healthy thing... all this hurry up and wait... but in the end we will be so glad we accomplished it! :)

@ Dave

Sorry to hear that the stress is catching up to you. It seems as soon as we climb one hurdle another has already formed, right there, smack dab in front of us! I am trying my best to stay positive but my daily dose of Zoloft simply cant be doubled without doctors authorization

I keep trying to occupy myself with preparring for the tasks to come at NVC but everytime I look to see what else I can possibly do, I see that I have already done all that I can. Last week I made a scrapbook of my honeymoon... this week I guess I'll do one for the wedding. Next week if we still dont have our NVC# maybe I will hafta get a jump start on a scrapbook for our first baby if we ever have any LMAO. At least you have school to occupy yourself :P

geesh I'm so over the hurry up and wait bit!
