I must say the stress level is down a notch after getting the notification for approval. I just hope NVC gets the file scanned and into the system quick.

clearning the I-130 stage might take anywhere from 90 to 180 days. Then you are onto the next stage at NVC.

There seems to be no trend, no logic, no clearly understood method to how they pick up applications off the pile.

Eventually, though, you will get your turn.

The date you petition was officially scanned into the USCIS system. It should be printed on your NOA1/I-797C.

Lets hope I can get thru there in 45 days or less. The key part (in my opinion) is to get the file scanend into the system. Depending on how long that can take it you can fly being that you have all your docs and payment ready to go at a momements notice...

I'm an April Filer, too!!! So glad to have others starting the process around the same time. My I-130 for my husband was received on 4/15 and USCIS emailed me today (4/19) to let me know that the petition is headed to the CA service center. Yay!
