A few questions...

My husband is from Pakistan and he is saying he cant get a military record. Does anyone know anything about this in Pakistan?

Also we are filling out the DS-230 part 1

Question # 29

List names, dates and places of birth and addresses of ALL children

Is that his brothers and sisters?

OR

are they asking about HIS children?

Thank you

The question is to list all of his children if he has any.

Interesting. I called my wife yesterday for her to make sure if it's 6 months to 1 year validity. Stay tuned for the response...

If it's 1 year, I will have her send it now. If it's valid for 6 months...I will have her wait until the end of this month to mid next month so we are clear for the end of this year to mid January of next year. Just in case her interview takes that long, which I hope it does not.

Yeah, India is no way near that organized. Kinda wish the British was still around for processes like this, for other stuff..get out! lol.

Transcripts will come pretty quick. Don't be surprised if you he has them in hand by Saturday.

Should take about 5-7 business days, or you can go to your local IRS office in town and get them on the spot there. You can also get it via fax instantly from the IRS if you have a personal fax machine. You have to call the 1-800 number and get hold of a CSR and request it that way.

Also...not one approval since 6-2 last week. Lets hope this is not a slow down... that would really suck.

Click on Order your Transcript under the number 3

You just put in your DOB, SSN and the address you used to file your taxes, then pick the year you want. Its pretty straight forward and its free. :star:

If you have issues with the online portal system ordering the tax transcripts, Just call in. I was having issues earlier in the day via online ordering. I ended up calling them on my lunch break in school and by the time it was my turn to order in the McDonald's drive thru I had talked to a CSR and they were on their way!

Great minds think alike!!

Right on! :P

Interesting. I called my wife yesterday for her to make sure if it's 6 months to 1 year validity. Stay tuned for the response..

I called my wife today and she is going to apply for her PCC today. She will let me know about the validity. I'll be sure to post my findings.
