its depend for PCC.i ask him he says its depend some people got vaild for 3 months, 6 months,or 1 year.

why i am saying just wait..because if his PCC vaild for 3 months and i dont knw when his interview gone be.

if expire then is hard to got again i mean take more time to got again.

yeah he had his passport since 07...he is lawyer he apply for his cousin last year her PCC valid for 6 months.

whenever anybody need they ask for his help..so he know about it.

Interesting. Ok...our friend that is lawyer in India as well showed us a few actual PCC's and all of them had a 1 year validity.

Maybe it's different state wise?

hmm..i have not done yet I-864,230..even my husband asking me about PCC..i am just keep telling him just wait.

I see that ur trying to get PCC for ur wife early... have u already applied for it...

my wife got hers in Anand (GUJ) the officer at the police station would not issue one till they see a checklist letter from NVC... so we had to send in our DS230 and wait for a freaking RFE... this in total took an extra 2-3 weeks of our time...

i read on here earlier that others from india got their PCC based on the internet print out and a print out of visa fees page with barcode...

That sucks big time! I wonder why they did that?

My wife just received her first passport and it will be less than 6 months so she can submit the passport office PCC instead of having both passport office and local district police station.

So today I was sent a letter in the mail from CSC service center with a generalized inquiry letter stating on how to contact USCIS customer service line. They also sent everything back to me that I sent them with that letter in which I forgot to date g-325a. Not the initial application I have put in, but the G325a form that I resent. They even sent me back my envelope. lol.

So, it looks like you can not send anything to "fix" your case that you might catch before they review it.If they feel it's necessary for the date to be on there, they will send an RFE I am assuming or they will approve it. Lets see.

hahaha..we did not even try for his PCC. we are just waiting for NOA2.

i apply I130 for my husband not for wife.

My husband is from Pakistan and he is saying he cant get a military record. Does anyone know anything about this in Pakistan?

Also we are filling out the DS-230 part 1

List names, dates and places of birth and addresses of ALL children

Is that his brothers and sisters?

OR

are they asking about HIS children?

As for your military cert. question, some countries can not produce them. Pakistan might be one of them. E-mail your consulate/embassy to be 100% certain.
