Wow..I sent a package to my wife in India last week and it got there in 7 days flat! Pretty amazed, it takes a good 10-12 days all the other times I sent stuff.

Yes...The quickest I have seen for a non-expedite case was 89 days. I'd say they are averaging between 100-120 days or so right now.

Today is day 56 for us! Half way there!

I just want to confirm that I need to get from my husband all the doc's Listed below as I will send them together with I-864 AOS Package. Do you think he should start working on getting the Police certificate and Military record?

DS-3032 completed and signed by beneficiary (ORIGINAL) (indicating petitioner as agent)

BARCODE instruction:

Marriage certificate (Certified)

Police Certificate based on country:

Beneficiary’s Military Record (Certified)

Four (4) Passport size photos (2in.x2in.) (5x5 cm) from beneficiary

Beneficiary’s passport biographic page (Photocopy)

Beneficiary’s birth certificate (Certified)

Divorce, Death Certificates (Certified)

Just remember DS-3032 can be e-mailed from the beneficiary's email address, but it is good to have a signed hard copy just in case.

Get a few extra passport photos. It's cheap and good to have. I brought a full page of U.S. passport sized pics of my wife.

Make sure on any documents that are not in English that you have translated and certified as well.

And for the PPC. You want to check to see how long those certificates are valid for. India is valid for 1 year from the date it is issued. If this is the case of Pakistan, it would not hurt to get the process going on that right now. I have read on other threads from Pakistani filer's that it takes forever to get these certificates.

It's pretty possible.

This is my thinking.

If I can get out of USCIS in 120 days that puts me at around mid-August. NVC I give a max of 1.5 months, that puts me at about beginning of October. After case is transferred to Mumbai Embassy. I expect a 1.5 month wait for NVC approval to Interview date assignment. That puts me at Mid-Decmember.

I'm hoping Kinnari is home for Christmas.

These are all estimates. It REALLY depends on USCIS.

I am not sure about Pakistan and Interview date assignment. Mumbai is about 1 to 1.5 months from NVC complete.

Anytime before NVC stage comes.

All my paperwork is done. I was done the second week after I filed for my wife. I am just waiting on PCC from India and my wife should get that here soon for IV packet processing.

So it's not like your account verification letter from Bank and your job letter has to be close to current date.

hmm..i have not done yet I-864,230..even my husband asking me about PCC..i am just keep telling him just wait.

I am not sending in any assets so don't have to worry about that.

I take that back. I will have to get an up to date employment letter when the time comes, that'll take a whole 2 minutes to get that. No biggie.

PCC is valid for 1 year after it is issued in India.

My wife has asked for the PCC since April 21st. She has yet to receive it. It takes a good while to get this certificate. You might want to have him get on top of it.

You must realize that your working with Indian Law Enforcement here, they do things as they please, when they please. You must take this into account if you want your case to move at a steady pace.
