According to this guide, you are to find out if your country is "Standard Processing or Appointment Processing". When I called the NVC, the lady told me she did not know what I was talking about?

Does anyone know which process Nepal is?

I read the State Department's Foreign Affairs Manual regarding your question and this is what I could find: Appointment Processing is where the NVC schedules the interview at the Embassy/Consulate. Standard Processing is where the Embassy/Consulate schedules the interview itself. On those same pages, only the Consulate in Guangzhou China uses Standard Processing, everywhere else is Appointment Processing.

Scroll down to this heading, "9 FAM 42.63 PN4.1-1 Reviewing the Files" in the link I included in this post. That's where the information I referenced is located.

Trying to plan a honeymoon trip to Turkey around the time of our interview but I must wait to plan until we know some dates! Come on USCIS I neeeeed a vacation with my hubby! lol

I have been following closely. A lot of the folks that filed in Mid-January just got their NOA2's last week and this week.

Thats around 100-115 days. CSC is cranking them out good right now, lets see if they can keep that pace going!

The priority date is the date that your file officially started it's processing journey. That's all that it means. So from that date is where you count 5 month in which you should get your approval.

Hey Guys! I looked through the site today and some people who mailed their documents early February are getting approvals! All that I saw were processed out of CSC (YAY). The latest priority date I saw approved so far was Feb 11th. WOO HOO!!! We are getting closer!

On an even better note I am going to travel to see my hubby in just a few weeks. The wait was killing us both so we are taking a honeymoon to Turkey! I'm so excited! I have never been there before so this is going to be awesome!!!

Yea! I saw that too... 93 days! Fastest I have seen yet for a NOA2 with a non-expedite. CSC is really cranking those suckers out. Keep that pace up Please!

Oh, I wish I could go back home to visit my honey. I'm right smack dab in the middle of my masters of nursing program... Have a good time!

Twice today I have looked at the projected adjudication date in my timeline and twice today I have noticed it moving in the right direction!

On an even better note I am going to travel to see my hubby in just a few weeks. The wait was killing us both so we are taking a honeymoon to Turkey! I'm so excited! I have never been there before so this is going to be awesome!!!

If this pace hold up to be true...I am hoping for around Mid-July for NOA2. Then Beginning August for NVC to about the start of September and maybe a Interview Date Mid to late October. Mumbai is pretty congested for interview dates. Usually it's about a month at most places...it's about 1.5 to 2 months in Mumbai.

Hoping to have the wife's here before Halloween and it would be really nice to have here before Thanksgiving!

Mine changed two whole weeks early than it was when we first started. I know it's not 100% but even on other immigration sites, CSC is currently cranking out NOA2's in 100 days or less!

I'm optimistic and realistic. If this pace holds, I'm looking at mid-August NOA2. Since I intend to take advantage of the available option of Electronic Processing at the NVC, a late October or earlier November interview is not outside the realm of possibility.

Hoping for speedy NOA2's for all of us here!
