wow. today was productive for our case. Received 2 emails from NVC within a space of few minutes. First email accepting the choice of agent emailed earlier and second email with AOS bill. Already paid the AOS bill now. So should we wait till AOS bill payment shows accepted and then send AOS form ? or should we go ahead and send AOS form right away ?

Send it in as soon as possible. Remember they are both on separate tracks.

Funny how this happened the SAME DAY I sent an email instead of just calling like I had been every day for weeks.

Now I hurry up to wait for the next step.

Hang in, shitalhiren! I know how terrible it feels. I was sure I was calling for my daily dose of disappointment, but this time the operator asked me to verify our names, dates of birth, phone numbers, and emails. Then I knew something was different!

Hang in there guys! I was losing hope around Day 30 but I kept on trudging thru the mud! It took me 41 days. NVC is not as fast as it was before historically but it will get there!

I wish I could complain about NVC. Still stuck at USCIS. 112 days and counting.

I'm currently in the Philippines right now.

Will I be notified by email if I receive an RFE? My last touch was 05/04. My case status still says Initial Review.

I'm worried about "additional background checks" because my wife had 3 unsuccessful attempts at a US visitor visa before we met.

Should I call USCIS customer service about the status of the petition?
