Greetings April Filers...

It appears that a few of us are still waiting on NVC and Invoice Numbers...

NVC received our case on August 1, 2011, and we are still waiting.

They are telling us to give them 10 to 20 business days...

We have decided to patiently wait.

It seems like quite a few April Filers are batched together.

You all are not along... Hang in there. I have a feeling our batch is up next.

We are "Patiently" waiting, but will still call to check once a day...

April Filers please don't forget to update the spreadsheet I made for us with your information as your immigration process unfurls!

Great to see you gus moving along finally!! Question: On the spreadsheet does "NVC Recieved" mean just case recieved or Case Nuumber recieved as well? Only beacause mine was recieved 8/01 but still no case number, even called today. Just didnt want to confuse anyone. Thanks!!

Thanks Dave! I think I was looking at an older version of the LingChe shortcut and I was pretty sure photos were required. How did you bind your package together? Just staples? And did you write your case number on each page? Also, I was going to just staple the photocopies of each page to the back of the original. Do you think this would be okay? Sorry for all the questions. I didn't find the NVC website very helpful for preparing this package and I don't want to screw things up.

I'm wondering how long it takes to process the NVC packages once they are received. Is there a way to find this out?

I did not paperclip anything. I just used 2 big binder clips on the top and bottom of the page. I also wrote the case number in the top right hand corner of every page. I used pencil for the originals.

People say on average of 8 days (including weekends) to review the packages. Today is day 7 for my AOS package and day 1 of my IV package. You know I will update as the process unfurls.

Your only real status updates is the NVC operators.

Congrats. Wait till the AOS fee status changes to PAID and then it will allow you to print a cover sheet with bar code. This cover sheet with code is required to be sent with your AOS packet else you will have pain and heartache.
