Versus has 2 games on tonight and the local channel is carrying the caps game! Will be interesting to see if the Canucks can finally escape the grasp of the Hawks and if the Caps can finally play--playoff hockey!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

You can go back to Canada (just a joke) Hockey here is the 4 or 5th in the order of sports so ofcourse it will not be on mainstream TV. Now having said that i should also let you know that the Redwings will take it all enjoy the playoffs. :P

Order NHL Center Ice! When I was down at school all the good ole' Canadian boys would splurge on that.

I'm rooting for the Caps (only b/c they're local) and we'll see if they can actually pull it together now.

Since my Sens completely failed, I'll be cheering for the Hawks as Chicago's where my boyfriend is from. If the Hawks lose to the Canucks (which, they probably will) then I'll jump on the Vancouver bandwagon.

Fair weather fan

The hawks have tough road ahead lost to many good players to free agency .. Because of the Cap

Go Hawks

How am I a fair weather fan? My team's out. I can't cheer for them. I'll cheer for my boyfriend's team but if they're out, I'll have to cheer for someone else.

Yep no hockey for u!! My flames are out, no big sunrise there!! Cheer for the Caps, but more importantly I rather to see an entertaining game!! I see no true excitement if ur team wins 10-0! Sure you get bragging rights, but a hard fought, game with lots of action is a lot more exciting!

The Kings drew S.J. in the first round. Unfortunately, our best player (kopitar) has a broken ankle. Sigh.

Sorry about that... Our bad.

Avs suck, Leafs suck. I'm just watching now for the entertainment!

GOOO CAPS!

I know I don't belong here, but can I cheer for Caps, since I'm getting ready to move to DC area and also cheer for Ovechkin as a true Russian? :innocent:
