Thank you to some for the encouraging and positive feedback. Its great to know that there is still people who care about other people's feelings. To the other ones who say we are complaining. Please don't misunderstand my friend Amber and I. We just wanted to inform others of the problem, so they wouldn't be further mislead. We both understand that we need to wait, as everyone else does. But it doesn't mean we shouldn't make it aware to the correct entities to correct the miscommunication between the government offices. That being said, just try to understand and try to be help if u can. Otherwise, you can move on as said before.

Wendy this is a PUBLIC forum and being such, you have no right to tell others to "move along". If you don't like the responses you can take your own advice and "move along".

I believe you are in the middle of your "due process" right now. Just because you don't like that process doesn't mean it's unlawful.

Wow Betsy I am starting to think we are not going to be the best of friends... oh perish the thought...

I never said anything as to what your refering to, but it is becoming clear you are just commenting for the sake of commenting, you asked for the proof... I gave you such ammendments from the Bill of Rights that support my claim that it is my RIGHT to have my husband with me. Now that I have satisfied your curiosity I am going to leave you alone, and would like to have the ame courtesy from you regarding me. Toodles (F)

why let US Immigration people get you upset..? Don't Stress

Ricardo, all due respect, but it is possible that the wait on immigration pulls a little harder on your emotions when you are waiting on your spouse. Having your other half be thousands of miles away and then being misled as to why your case is delayed is a tough blow even for the strongest of people.

Amber (F)

Vent, get it out, and then remember many people are still searching for love, and give thanks.

The embassy WILL start scheduling interviews again. Trust that (F)

Did they say WHY the embassy was closed??

eta: maybe I should read all 4 pages before responding  lol

Sad To Say But Aren't We All Standing In The Same Line? If We Could Change this Process I'm Sure Someone Here On VJ Would Have Done It Along Time Ago. We All Feel Like You Do And We All Wish For The Same And That's To Have The One We Love By Our Side

Yes, I do know The Bill of Rights so well, while it does not state that it is a right for a husband and wife to be allowed to live together, it is a right none the less. You see I believe God gave the husband a right to leave his parent's house and join with his wife. See we can talk religion or and what is our rights as children of God, but usually I do not get into debates about religion. What I did mean is I earned a right by meeting all the conditions set forth by our government to bring my husband here, So I do see it as a right and a priviledge.

Thank you for wishing us well and I do wish you the same!!! It is always good to have replies such as yours, disagree, yet are a decent person with the best of intentions when replying to someone's cry out for help and discussion. (F)

Well Betsy.... there is.. taken directly from the Bill of Rights....

1st Amendment: Freedom of (or from) religion. Freedom of speech. Freedom to assemble. Freedom to petition the government. (Which we have done.)

9th Amendment: The listing of a right in any other part of the Constitution does not imply that other unlisted rights do not exist. Supreme Court decisions have found a handful of important rights that fall under the 9th Amendment, such as the right to privacy. (Ahhhh so you mean to tell me we have more rights than just outlined in the Constitution???)

14th Amendment: Right to citizenship of any person born in the United States. Right to equal protection of the national and state laws. Right to be free of any law that abridges the privileges or immunities of a citizen. Right to be free of any law that deprives a person of life, liberty, or property without due process. (Well that about sums it up right there? All wrapped up with a pretty lil bow)

Sam my friend... yes it is a HOT TOPIC today isnt it? How are you doing? Any news?

Yes as I told you when we first got word of the embassy reopening the Embassy must take care of their own backlog before new interviews will be in place.

The thing that has set me on fire is the way we have been misled for 3 weeks now with being told the NVC IS scheduling interviews, but there is only a limited number of slots available for the NVC to use due to the embassy's backlog.

Why lie all this time to people? Just say yes the embassy is open but no NEW interviews will be scheduled until the embassy clears the backlog... isnt that simple enough to say? I said it and it didnt hurt to say at all... LOOOOL

Hey thanks for the flower! I got to agree yet again with Wendy, you are forever the gentleman to a T!
