I'm feeling a little stupid right now

In my desperate attempt to be completely ready for the NVC process (to make it go as quickly as possible, of course), I told my sweet husband to get his police certificates, and he was more than happy to comply. However, without realizing it, I may have screwed up a little......

The police certificate has a 3 month expiration date!!!

SO, if we don't get our interview before it expires in December, he'll have to wait for hours and pay the rather extravagent fee all over again. I feel really stupid. I'm trying so hard to do everything perfectly.

I didn't know there was an expiration date on the police certificates. I don't know much, I suppose, except that I need my husband. Too much.

ONE DAY AT A TIME....

Oh TracyLuis, I feel for you.

It's the opposite with us, my husband is the one who is over anxious and got his police certificate. I think we are clear until January though.

You are so close though, it will probably be fine. :)(F)

*hugs* You poor thing. Its hard to think of everything during this stressful process, so if this is the one thing that you "mess up", then go easy on yourself. It would suck to have to spend the money, but if that's the worst thing that happens, then you're doing all right. :)

Hi TracyLuis! Don't stress! I'm very confident that you'll have your interview before December. You're staying on top of things and there is nothing wrong with that. And since you are getting everything ready before the NVC asks for it, that just means that you will get through this process that much faster. Good luck to you!!

Hi Tracy,

well as per my observations if all ur documentations are filled properly u should get ur approval this month even may be next tuesday or the one after that, as Laura had said from her call to a friendly immiration officer that uscis has to send some kind of notice after 30 days from recieving the RFE.So u seem to be really close keep ur fingers crossed.

wishing u the best of luck

I'm still hoping for my K-3 application approval, Bombay. My RFE was received on July 24th, so I hope you're right about hearing something soon.

It's so darn complicated!!!
