No, you need a VALID I-94 not an expired one.

You cant do anything with an expired I-94. If you let it expire you have to wait for the green card or EAD to get a drivers license or a SSC.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

In my experience they told me that I had to wait for my EAD or Greencard because if they do issue me a DL it would expire with my I-94!... I live in Georgia though.. Im not sure what it is like where you live.

because they look my passport and I-194 and they said they need to wait to be expired it till may 17 before they need to issue me a state id or driver licence, because if they issue me a state id it will be expired also till may 17 which is in my I-194, i dont know what to do? my greencard still on process. its hard to apply a job if u cant drive. something wrong with it, we're just married last april 2 but we already have marriage licence to show that we are already married and i have my ssn already.
