What you wrote in form DS-230 in question 11 about adress where to mail green card or leave blank

Yuo would put an address in the US, where you are certain that someone will be there for a number of years.

Perhaps a Family member? Do not leave it blank. However, you will have opportunities to change the address, further down the road.

and in 33a and 33 b about SSN?

Thanks :)

33a - Well, has the Beneficiary ever applied for a US SSN? Yes or no? (part 2 of that question - I don't know)

33b - Unless you want headaches with Homeland Security (DHS) later on, Check: YES

If - "no" in 33a, did not applied for SSN, then after - yes - want SSN? Right?

Question 23 is silly, I have changed so much schools that even cant remember, and we have different system here. We get diploma only when all is completed. I will put last three I think. General education and university, even not finished.

I was reading over the AOS forums last night, and came across something that said if you checked yes for this specific question, it did not matter, because it was only meant for the CR-1....it does not apply to K-1, so you are exactly right about applying once the beneficiary is here in the U.S.

In Jakarta, they send "packet 3" by e-mail, upon request.

I had that ready a while ago and it is in my Fiances hand, as we speak. Package left NVC today!

She may be here in 14 days, barring any problems!

Thats great news!!!! As you can see my Fiance's interview in on the 25th of this month, we are getting more and more nervous as the days go by, but we know it will be ok...It will have taken almost exactly 8 months to the day from NOA1 to Interview for us, and we have not seen each other since December of last year, so I can hardly wait. Wish us well, and I am wishing you well....Good Luck with everything :thumbs:

Both

ieva, im sorry i spelled your name wrong....

did the embassy tell you to fill out both parts of the DS 230 specifically, or are you just filling out both parts?

As I understand it, one can apply directly for the SSN at the local office, in the US. I plan to do that.

However, I checked yes on DS-230, I want a SSN issued to my future Wife. Who knows if that will actually happen through this form. Maybe so...

With that said, my future Wife may wind up with 2 SSN's.

Not sure how I will resolve that....

I was reading over the AOS forums last night, and came across something that said if you checked yes for this specific question, it did not matter, because it was only meant for the CR-1....it does not apply to K-1, so you are exactly right about applying once the beneficiary is here in the U.S.

Thanks for that.

Wishing big success to you all, at the interview and overall!!!! Good Luck!!
