hi.

i read this link of yours: "Work authorization for SSA purposes"

i am not english mother tongue and as far as i understand a K1 Fiancee beneficiary ones he/she enter the US can work Legally? no need to apply for EAD anymore?

Can you confirm this?

Please tell me i am right :)

Wow sorry to hear about the long delays.. Just starting our journey Monday the 17 plan to mail our I-129f.. Hope your journeys end soon,,

Don't think I have the heart to tell the better half how long it may really take :-(

I'm in the same boat.... I've let her think it'll be a quick process and just say "let's see" when we talk about the supposed due date.... It's hard.. Like balancing whether or not to tell your kids about Santa...

05/04/11 2nd notice of Approval via website and text message! Thank you Jesus!

05/09/11 2nd notice I-797 hard copy arrives in mail.

05/11/11 NVC receives approved K-1 visa

05/13/11 NVC ships K-1 to Bogota

05/16/11 K-1 arrives at Embassy

05/18/11 E-mail Packet #3 to Embassy

07/28/11 Appointment scheduled at Embassy in Bogota. # Visa Approved #

Today --I received a response from my senator and congressman who stated that my case was sent for expedite and is undergoing adjucative process. keeeping my fingers crossed for an approval soon .

-400 CITIZENSHIP TIMELINE

01-17-2015 = N-400 packet sent (to P.O. Box Dallas via USPS Priority Mail)
01-21-2015 = N-400 packet delivered
01/25/2015 = E confirmation / Text received

01/26/2015 = Check cashed .

02/02/2015 = NOA1 received (Priority Date 01/21/2015)
02/09/2015 = Biometrics Letter received .

02/18/2015 = Biometrics

02/20/2015 = In line for interview

04/10/2015 = Interview Letter received .

05/11/2015 =Interview .

If you're in Chicago, you'll probably get the California office :) which seems to take less time. Good luck!

I received that same response last month.

I contacted a congressman on the 17th and now have an RFE for a document they have already but we sent it again any way.

I think the RFE was to give them another 60 day window to operate in.

Met My Soul Mate Rina in Korea on November 30, 2008.

1st TRIP to PI on June 14, 2009.

Spent a week at Bluewater Resort in Cebu - Ecellent time- Highly Recommended

2nd TRIP to PI on Oct 2009.

Started first attempt at annulment - scammed by bad Attorney Carillo (my opinion)

Spent time at Flushing Meadows - Not as advertized in Bahol

Spent time at Waterfront down town Cebu - To Expensive and To upper class for this country boy but we had fun.

3rd TRIP to PI to see my Baby Ko again in Dec 2009.

Spent time in Manila and then Iligan.

Jan 2010 - Discovered annulment papers were fraudelent.

Hired another attorney from Davo- thanks to this site. Dimples Dulay - Great, awesome, Highly Recommended

4th TRIP to PI In April 2010

Filed more papers for annulement - Progressing well

Have the next Trip planned for August 2010 - Fingers crossed

Annulment Complete - May 2010

K1 Process Changed - June 2010 - trying to find out what changed.

5th TRIP to PI in August 2010.

Filed packet with USCIS - August 2010.

NOA1 Received Sept 12, 2010

Touched - Oct 3, 2010

6th TRIP to PI again December 2010.

7th TRIP to PI again May 2011

Sent email to Vermont today and hope to get just as quick of an response !

Sorry you got "the letter" but that is their standard response. What they are really saying is that it takes a maximum of 6 months to get through the USCIS IF you catch them and call them on it. A letter to your Congressman at this point would not hurt.

doesnt nessecarily help either though

So. We're at 184 days and counting and received this email last evenig from Vermont. The date I requested it was 30 March - it tool them 2 weeks to email me this response!:

The status of this service request is:

Your Petition for Alien Fiance (e) (Form I-129F) was received here at the Vermont Service Center and a receipt notice was mailed to you on October 15, 2010. Your receipt number is EAC-11-xxx-xxxx. Unfortunately, we are unable to produce duplicate receipt notices. You may wish to retain this letter for future reference.

Moreover, your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter.

If you have any further questions, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.

UGH this process is so frustrating and heartbreaking!!
