Your I-129F petition was received on November 4, 2010. Currently, there is a five month processing time. Processing times for specific applications and petitions at the Vermont Service Center (VSC) are provided on the www.uscis.gov website and are updated weekly. Based on fluctuations and variables that impact the processing times and for the purpose of interim or final adjudicative processing, the VSC allows 30 days beyond the posted date before the case is considered "Outside of Normal Processing Time" (ONPT).

An additional 30 days must be allowed for adjudicative review and processing before we can request expeditious processing based on an ONPT request. If the application or petition is still pending after 30 days, and once we receive your formal request for expeditious processing, your case will be forwarded to the applicable adjudicative unit for expeditious handling. In your case that would be on May 4, 2011.

For future status inquiries of a petition or application filed at this Center you may want to utilize our National Customer Service Center by calling 1-800-375-5283. If you would like to obtain forms, filing instructions, case status or schedule an appointment with your local office, please visit our website at www.uscis.gov. You must use the InfoPass Appointment Scheduler prior to visiting your local office.

We got the same dumb letter a month ago...we're now at 180 days and counting as of today :(

I have my Senator's office emailing them again today. We shall see what comes of it, if anything. Probably just another lame letter. We're so ready to move on with our lives. We have children invloved (a his, mine and ours scenario LOL). I'm holding thumbs we'll hear something POSITIVE before the end of this week. Best of luck to all of you on this posting...stay positive! You've come this far, the rest apparantly goes quickly (but costs $$$, GRRRR).

They gave the same answer to the senator that my fiance contact, so she told us to wait until the 29 of march (our 6 months deadline) and once we reach the 6 months the senator remind them about this email and made a request on our case ...they told us to call back in the 11th if we dont get an answer, but we got approved two days later :D, I dont think that was coincident... trust me that mail is a good sign, some ppl don't get that answer, they get wait until your 6 months deadline and then 60 more days that is just insane :o

Good Luck to everyone

Yeah I sent an email to the vermont center everday until I got a response once we hit the 5 month mark. About a week later I started getting a response every day to each one of my emails... the exact same response. the verbage at the beginning changed slightly to "We can only reiterate what you and your congressional liasons have already been told..." blah blah blah. We were told by our congress person that we would recieve a decision by April 13th, tomorrow!!! Hopefully that holds true!

Keep bugging your congressmen/senators... my mother also wrote a very strongly worded letter to our congressman about this. Emphasizing the fact that we are middle class american citizens paying taxes which pay their wages and that we should all be treated fairly and WITH RESPECT. Mom got a call a just a few days after she sent the letter from the congressman's office saying they had checked into our case and that it was being worked on right then and that we would have an answer by April 13th. We will see what happens tomorrow. Use every resource you can.
